Connecting SolarEdge power optimisers to the Canadian Solar KuDymond glass-on-glass panels makes them smart panels that produce more power over the panel 30 year warranty period.
With the integration of the HD Wave and StorEdge Inverters this has provided the ability to connect smart devices and future capability to connect a battery DC-coupled with black out protection.

IT’S ALL IN THE DETAILS

Solar Design.

Utilising the SolarEdge Designer we pull in the solar irradiance data to help with the annual solar yield and estimated energy production. In all of our designs we allow for soiling as well as Light Induced Degradation (LID) - this is degradation of the panels in the first operating hours in respect to the STC values.
This design took advantage of the main roof area to maximise solar irradiance. With SolarEdge, we have the flexibility to install panels on different roof facets with uneven rows of panels.
NO SHORT CUTS

Installation.

The home owner had a special roof where there was no screw lines to mount the panels. So here we utilised Mak Fastners S5 range of products pictured here to mount the Clenergy tin foot and aluminium rail to allow us to mount the panels securely to the roof. The Inverters have been mounted in the garage backing onto the meter board location, so we need to install and additional isolator pictured. Here we have 2 x HD wave Inverters and integrated a StorEdge Inverter to allow back up power once a battery is connected.
