System Overview.
After meeting with the management team at Sesame Lane Childcare Group, we designed a system and showed them how reducing energy consumption was going to save them over 50% of their energy usage.
We also talked to them about delivering a fun, educational, and interactive show to the children about where electricity comes from and how solar works, plus we installed a monitoring screen in their reception with live energy data.

Installation.
This project is a classic example of the flexibility the SolarEdge Technology offers over typical string inverters.
We chose to utilise the SolarEdge integrated PV equipment to provide high transparency of system performance and Safe-DC enables panel shutdown to 1 volt DC when the inverter is not operating.
Potential faults are reported, detected and located through the SolarEdge monitoring portal allowing effective preventative maintenance. The monitoring has a playback feature to identify panel issues or performance drops
The SolarEdge DC Optimised inverter maximises power generation at the individual panel-level while lowering the cost of energy production by the PV system for a higher return on investment.
