After meeting with the management team and board members at the Wesley Medical Centre, we analysed their energy data and showed them how we could optimise their savings potential by improving their site Power Factor, reducing their annual consumption with solar and moving them to a more suitable tariff arrangement.

By utilising the SolarEdge Designer, we can accurately simulate solar production by building the site in a 3D model. Then we introduce their energy data into the Designer and overlay the estimated system production to calculate the self consumption of the solar PV to model energy savings and carbon off-set potential.

Installation.

This project is a classic example of the how to provide and engineered solution. From improving the power factor at the metering point to improving and reducing energy consumption and optimising their tariff arrangement. We chose to utilise the SolarEdge integrated PV equipment to provide high transparency of system performance and Safe-DC enables panel shutdown to 1 volt DC when the inverter is not operating. Potential faults are reported, detected and located through the SolarEdge monitoring portal allowing effective preventative maintenance. The SolarEdge DC Optimised inverter maximises power generation at the individual panel-level while lowering the cost of energy production by the PV system for a higher return on investment.
